A man was killed and another suffered serious head injuries after a metal door fell on them at a music venue.
Police were called to G Live in Guildford, Surrey at about 11.45am on Saturday after a report that two men were trapped beneath the large door.
The victim - who had serious leg injuries - was treated by paramedics but was declared dead at the scene.
The other man was taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting with serious head injuries.
Saturday night's event at the venue was cancelled and G Live staff are contacting all ticket holders.
Police say inquiries are in the early stages.
The Health and Safety Executive has been informed of the death.
