Actor Michael Jace has reportedly been charged with homicide following the fatal shooting of his wife.
April Jace, 40, was found dead with gunshot wounds at around 8.30pm on Monday night, according to CBS Los Angeles.
The couple had been married for nine years Officers had responded to reports of a "domestic incident" after neighbours in Hyde Park heard gunfire.
Detective Eric Crosson told the LA Times Jace was taken into custody and arrested on a homicide charge later.
Jace, 48, is perhaps best known for his role as a LA police officer in The Shield and for starring opposite Russell Crowe in the film State Of Play.
He has also had roles in the television series Southland and the film Forrest Gump.
The couple were married for nine years and have children.
